Thirroul Toastmasters commenced in 2004 in response to a growing demand for improved communication and leadership skills in the Northern Illawarra.
Since then it has met fornightly with dozens of members reaping the benefits of a structured communication and leadership development program.
"The mission of a Toastmasters Club is to provide a mutually supportive and positive learning environment in which every member has the opportunity to develop and practice communication and leadership skills, which in turn foster self-confidence and personal growth"
Members of the public are more than welcome to attend regular meetings.
